Today we're diving a little deeper into report engineering in the CRM.

This is one of the simplest ways of demonstrating the general practice of detailed reporting:

- Look for the specific metric you want to report on.

- Build out automation and data structure for that metric to "come alive"

- Use data visualization to show that metric in whatever context is necessary.

The key thing to remember is that reporting is like brackets. It happens at the beginning and the end of every business project.

Build out the tech stack so that it is "made to report", then revel in your visibility as your reports add up, make sense, and provide insight.

And to some, a breakdown of form submissions doesnt have much of a use. By itself, this is a report you can get from hubspot with no wordkflows or 3rd parties.

Sales Stages by form submissions?

That stuff needs the extra structure that workflows like this provide.

Often, these work retroactively as well, that makes it great to set them up and be able to look at how these dynamics already behave.
